Understanding cumulative volume discount pricing.
Pet Food Experts categorizes retailers using a Cumulative Volume Discount Pricing (or "CVDP") pricing system. CVDP rewards loyal customers for helping improve supply-chain efficiency through consolidated purchases.
Participating retailers that wish to have their pricing tier evaluated will work with their Territory Sales Manager to discuss a summary of brands for purchase and anticipated volume to determine where they fall on a tiered scale, aka "Price Bracket".
Customers must meet the required minimums, and accounts must be within payment terms to maintain discount tiers.
