Wings of Excellence winners 6/30

On behalf of the Steering Committee, it is with great pride to share another round of Wings of Excellence Awards.

🎸 Mark Caruana, Driver Suwanee, GA

"Mark is a dedicated delivery driver who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every customer has a positive experience. He treats each delivery with care and urgency, often taking extra steps to accommodate special requests or challenging situations. No task is too big or small—he does whatever it takes to get the job done right and on time. His commitment isn’t just to the route, but to the company’s success, always looking for ways to improve service and represent the brand with pride.  "

-Joe Carras, SVP NHP Commercial Strategy

"Mark has always been a very courteous and professional driver. In the past years there have often been scheduling challenges where he has called a head to say he was running late and we would make arrangements to meet after the store had already closed, to receive an order. . He communicates with us and doesn't leave us wondering where our order is. He presents a good "face" of the company to your customers. While most of what I've described might be considered what one would expect in a driver, these traits are rare and valuable"
-Testimony from Rutherford Pet Supply- Spindale, North Carolina    Owner Chris Nelson

🎸 Dmitriy Golovenko, Data Warehouse Manager• WA

"Trust the process." These are the famous words of Dmitriy Golovenko—and he truly lives by them.
Dmitriy played a critical role in the success of the 3PL transition from Scranton to Denver, PA. His calm, methodical approach to problem-solving helped keep the team focused and confident throughout the process. Dmitriy’s well-thought-out transfer plan enabled us to move over 1,000 pallets of inventory in just two days. Even when unexpected challenges arose, Dmitriy remained composed and kept the team moving forward. His leadership, attention to detail, and steady presence made a meaningful impact—and, as a bonus, he’s also a great videographer on the side.

🎸 Jen Faria, Talent Acquisition Coordinator
      🎸 Kari Rundman, HR Generalist

Since March, our Recruiting and Talent Acquisition team has worked tirelessly to hire nearly 350 new PFXers - and the momentum continues with more on the way as we prepare for the official conversion of Schertz, Stockton and Orrville to PFX in the coming weeks. The team is also leading efforts to staff up in other locations in support of expected sales growth and continued operational network optimization. The complexity and scale of Project Phoenix has required the team to live our PFX values while being adaptable and working with an extreme sense of urgency. What is most impressive is the team is always smiling and authentically represents what is best about PFX culture!"
