Wings of Excellence 7/18

On behalf of the Steering Committee, it is with great pride that I share the next round of Wings of Excellence award recipients.

We’ve made tremendous progress on our Project Phoenix milestones, completing 6 of 9 cold chain conversions and heading into cutover weekend for our second of three 3PL moves.

🎸 Yamilet Molina, Operations Lead 3PL • Bartlett, IL "

Yamilet is a true rockstar and a highly valued member of our team.  As the PFX/BartlettWINGS (2) 3PL Lead for the largest Royal Canin site in our network, her team consistently achieves top results nationwide.  One of Yamilet's most outstanding qualities is her eagerness to share her expertise. She has trained numerous employees and has traveled across the country to provide support whenever needed. Her commitment to these training opportunities stems from her genuine desire to help others improve in their roles.

I am often asked by my peers what the "secret" to Bartlett's 3PL success is, and my answer is always the same: they operate as a team, and they are led by a selfless person who deeply cares for everyone on her team. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with Yamilet, and she truly exemplifies the spirit of the Wings of Excellence!"
-Joe Manning, Sr Manager DC Operations

🎸 Enrique Jimenez, Receiving Coordinator • Bartlett, IL

"I would like to take a moment to recognize Enrique for his outstanding work and leadership.  Enrique has done an excellent job leading the receiving team from Des Plaines, successfully processing over 100 purchase orders within just a couple of weeks prior to the inventory move to Bartlett.
In addition, he traveled to the Suwanee location to train local team members on proper receiving procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy across locations. Throughout this period, Enrique has consistently demonstrated a high level of energy, motivation, and deep knowledge of our systems and processes. His commitment and proactive approach have contributed to the success of our inventory receiving efforts.  Thank you, , for your hard work and dedication — it has truly made a diffeEnriquerence."
-Andrey Legkiy, Head of Integration and VP, Operations

🎸 Shawna Riendeau, Sr. ERP Administrator • HQ

"The IT team in general is just killing it these days, they are collectively so instrumental in everything we do.  Shawna approaches the myriad of challenges that cross her desk with a calm and can-do attitude, and even better she always finds smart and practical solutions.  She is not only technically strong, but she operates with empathy and professionalism. Watching her growth over the past couple of years has been an absolute joy. She leans into every challenge with resilience and reliability, and she carries a quiet confidence that inspires trust and respect from those around her. We are lucky to have her on our team!"
-Phylicia Proulx, Chief of Staff

🎸 Steve McGrath, Outbound Supervisor • Cumberland, RI

"Simply stated, WOW!  With the addition of fresh product and superstore volume in our freezer, we have seen a massive surge in challenges to support our growth. These challenges could not have been met without Steve's leadership, passion and effort.  Every challenge has been met with enthusiasm and a "we will get it done" approach which is Steve's hallmark. AND he has worked tirelessly to set his team up for success -- from coming in on the weekend to replenish the warehouse, to staying late into the night to pack the orders to get them out earlier, to knowing when they all need a break. His creativity in solving our cooling challenges has resulted in outstanding quality results on our new products to our customers.  Perhaps most importantly, when the next day starts, there he is with enthusiasm and passion that has not waned. Outstanding performance."
-Jeff Enright, Sr Manager DC Operations

🎸 Roberto Hernandez, Fleet Supervisor • Cumberland, RI

"In talking about Roberto, I often think of pop culture or comic book references. It's a version of "Where's Waldo" when looking for Roberto as he could be on the dock helping with the loading of trailers or talking with a driver, he might be in his office fielding phone calls while engaging with Cx by email and chat, he could be deep in Connecticut on a run to fill in for a driver, or like the Flash he might be doing it all at once somehow. He never takes his focus off of his drivers and his partners.  What is most remarkable though is the combination of his humility and his resilience. If mistakes are made, he is raising his hand and taking ownership.  There is no finger pointing. If he needs help he is asking for it. And if we need him we know he will be there."
-Jeff Enright, Sr Manager DC Operations
