Wings of Excellence 5/13
As part of Project Phoenix, we are excited to introduce Wings of Excellence - a new recognition program designed to celebrate employees who exemplify renewal, resilience, and the ability to rise above challenges. This award also honors those who go above and beyond to drive our integration forward in meaningful ways, while embodying our PFX values: family, inclusion, dependability, curiosity, and humility
On behalf of the Steering Committee, it is with extreme pride that I announce our first round of Wings of Excellence Awards.
Martin Kell, Senior Manager, DC Operations β’ Denver, PA
βMartin is demonstrating proactive leadership and foresight during this integration project. His work at the Denver, PA location stands out - where, in many cases, preparations for the additional volumes are ahead of schedule. By anticipating challenges, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving timely solutions, he has consistently shown a strong commitment to excellence.β
- Andrey Legkiy, Head of Integration
Nate Diehl, Inventory Control Associate β’ Denver, PA
"Nate went above and beyond in supporting the frozen item layout project. He completed tasks with impressive speed, demonstrated outstanding Excel skills, and collaborated closely with the team - working late hours to help finalize the proposal. His thoughtful insights and ability to enhance the original concept led to meaningful improvements that elevated the final outcome."
-Kirill Legkiy, Director of Inventory Control (ASC)
Joe Manning, Regional Director (ASC) and
Jacquie Adams, Senior Manager, DC Operations β’ Des Plaines, IL
"Joe & Jacquie are continuing to demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to PFX values - family, inclusion, dependability, curiosity, and humility - as they lead the ongoing integration of the Des Plaines and Bartlett, IL distribution centers. Their partnership is helping to unify two workforces into one PFX team while navigating the complexities of this transition. To recognize and celebrate their teams' efforts so far, they sponsored a cookout and employee appreciation event on April 26th. Joe and Jacquie continue to set a strong example for collaboration and inclusion at PFX."
-Joe Emerick, Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Congratulations to our inaugural honorees, and thank you for your continued contributions to Project Phoenix.
