What does 3PL mean?
3PL, or third-party logistics, refers to the fulfillment and shipping of products directly to consumers or vet rather than through retail stores.
(The definition of 3PL outlined here differs from how we’ve traditionally used the term at Pet Food Experts.)

3PL is currently limited to select brands only, not our full product assortment. It's important staff understand that this is NOT a direct-to-consumer program for all PFX inventory—just for specific partners participating in the 3PL initiative.
To incorporate this into our logistics network, we will integrate three Animal Supply Company (ASC) DCs into our existing distribution centers, while maintaining ASC's 3PL operations in another 4 ASC distribution centers (Suwanee, GA, Bartlett, IL, Stockton, CA, and Shertz, TX).
This integration will enable us to offer 3PL services through these combined facilities, optimizing our supply chain to efficiently manage inventory and fulfill orders directly to pet parents.
